What was your first GPU?

When i was a kid and got my first computer, i sold my PS2 just to buy me a 8400GS. This was way back when internet was linked to the house telephone (me when someone had to use the phone ). I remember playing Red Crucible at low and being happy because playing something you want is great. Without a GPU, my pc would overheat in a few mins, so that's the main reason i bought one. And no my parents woudn't give a damn about improving my PC, so i had to do everything without they knowin . Tell me u guys experience with PC.
