Because of covid there is low production of silicon chips which are used to make GPU, because of low quantity of silicon chips and high demand for GPU made the price go really high.

It will take a long time as the silicon chips are still in super high demand by GPU and CPU manufacturers and there aren't enough chips.

Well.. the big reason is COVID, but another reason is many GPU is used as mining bitcoin and many GPU that used after mining bitcoin is sell in low price and buy the new one that's why the price of GPU is high for now

Pandemic & Bitcoin mining I think, here in my country, GPU prices are high as hell

Edit : I got my 1060 3GB back in early 2020 for 98,35USD lmao, now the prices is 224,80USD avg
