Recording Video content from restricted applications(like hulu etc.)

Hi guys!
Missing this site and all of u, Used to play a lot of games but now I've gone back to academics. The issue is my college video application in which I attend my online lectures, doesn't allow to record the video for copyright purposes. But I'm in a dire need of recording the content cos it will help me immensely.
I've searched a lot in net but didn't find any working solution.
I've tried recording with the help of obs but black screen shows up
Even tried to cast my screen from android to laptop and then do but to no avail.
If any one knows the solution to how to bypass this Please Help!

USE OBS:-

oh my bad, i didnt see the obs things on his statement, i think that happens when you have two graphics on your system especially on laptops

thank you but the blackscreen happens when the website prevents you from recording it right? so it stops you from potentially distributing the video online for free use

try using 3rd party recorder from phone to usb and record screen

OBS Studio will throw a black screen if it isn't compatible with the current OS. You can solve the problem by changing its compatibility. Here's how. Right-click on OBS Studio and choose Properties
