1/ Summoners: You are the summoner. Each account has summoner levels. Playing games earns you XP to level up and unlock new things like summoner spells, rune slots, masteries, and game modes.
2/ Summoner Spells: Summoner spells are spells provided by you for your champion. They have longer cooldowns than basic champion spells. Here are some examples based on summoner level:

- Clarity (level 1): Restores mana for you and a teammate.
- Ghost (level 1): Grants a burst of movement speed.
- Heal (level 1): Restores health and grants a speed boost.
- Revive (level 1): Instantly revives you upon death with a speed boost.
- Barrier (level 4): Provides a shield to block damage.
- Exhaust (level 4): Slows down enemy movement and reduces their damage.
- Teleport (level 6): Allows you to teleport to allied units or wards.
- Cleanse (level 6): Removes crowd control effects.
- Flash (level 8): Probably the best summoner spell in the game. Allows you to quickly blink a short distance.
- Clairvoyance (level 8): Provides vision in an area.
- Ignite (level 10): Deals true damage and reduces healing.
- Smite (level 10): Used by junglers to help with jungle camps.
- Basic Attack: Right-clicking an enemy performs a basic attack. Different champions rely on auto attacks or abilities.
- Passive: Unique to each champion, it happens automatically and can be advantageous if understood.
- Abilities: Champions have three basic abilities and an ultimate. Abilities can be ranked up with levels, making them more powerful.
- Mages (AP carries): Rely on abilities to deal damage, either sustained or burst.
- Assassins: Deal burst damage and aim to eliminate high-damage enemies. Can be AP or AD.
- Marksmen (AD carries): A team relies on the AD carry to do the AD damage for the team! Primarily rely on auto attacks for damage.
- Supports: Supports support their team! Provide utility and often buffs or crowd control for their team.
- Tanks: Tanks are tanks. They soak up the damage for their carries and act as a front line.
- Fighters/Bruisers: Bruisers tend to be melee, they deal both damage and soak up damage depending on how you build them.
- Top Laner: Usually a tank, bruiser, or mage.
- Jungler: The jungler doesn't lane, but helps lanes. They gank lanes to help them get the advantage over their enemy.
- Mid Laner: Often a squishy mage or assassin.
- AD Carry: A team relies on the AD carry to do the AD damage for the team! Deals AD damage for the team.
- Support: The support goes bot lane with the AD carry to, yes, support the AD carry. They help them survive and lane.
