Devs need to be able to see what anti cheat will be running in it. But for sure there will be cheats, but not the old ones for CS:GO. Valve itself announced that CS2 will remove the tickrate system making the CS2 more client side, with this change Valve HAS to implement a brand new anticheat.

I wonder if VAC is going to get stronger in CS2? I really think that their VAC bans are not that good tbh, you can use almost any external atm
