What do you mean with update, do you want to keep your files? You can download the media creation tool from microsoft, then choose the iso option, it will create and download an iso image of windows 10, after that you can make that iso bootable with a usb and install on your pc, if i'm not wrong you can then choose either do a clean install, which will erase all data on your drive and give you a fresh w10, or you can choose to keep data, it will create a folder with things from your previous windows.

You can update from Windows 7 to Windows 10 by downloading the ISO file and clicking setup step by step display. If you don’t want to see the boring scene just clicking next forever, then you can use the PowerShell command to upgrade Windows 7 to Windows 10. The update process will be completely automated. You just need to Copy and press Enter.

yes you can i guess but before they stop support it you might find an upgrade exe around internet but for clean instlattion just get the iso and burn it on flash driver

Here's how to upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10:

1. Back up all of your important documents, apps, and data.
2. Head over to Microsoft's Windows 10 download site.
3. In the Create Windows 10 installation media section, select “Download tool now,” and run the app.
4. When prompted, choose “Upgrade this PC now.”

So you need standalone tool for that. Its present on Micorosft official website. Easy to find.
