i think best way is reset pc
since we dont wan pay i suggust a full reset but yeap is a risk that all information can be lost as there no backup
simply next time dont anyhow download a exe file and excute without scan first
usually i got this also i did a full pc reset
by downloading ***** vpn and turn out to be virus inside my pc..

maybe try great antivirus ( the one who costs alot of money) if u really dont want to reinstall

ESET / Malwarebytes / CCleaner / Windows defender there are many of antiviruses, personally i just use windows defender and ccleaner is enough.
