Ive climbed to Dia+ many times in NA playing every role with many different champs.
Your best bet is to get good at adc and play the meta adcs. Im not sure about this platforms quality but generally I use Ezreal, Jinx, Kog, Twitch and sometimes Varus.

I think champion with evade skill are good such like Lucian, Ezreal, or mages like Syndra/Viktor/Velkoz, I went to Plat2 or 3 with Vik/Syndra mid, if i get one or two kills in begening its a free win
