league is miles a way from dying, fact is there's no big MOBA competitors out there aside from dota, and league is more visually pleasing than dota so most people will just choose that over dota.

I’ve seen countless people saying things like “League of Legends is the worst game” or “only trash plays League of Legends” among other things. People love competition. Some people take it too seriously—too many people. And they speak the loudest. “League is dying” and “this game is driving itself into the ground” etc. etc. Their experiences have brought a negative light on the game, unfortunately.

Either way, though, no. It’s not dying at all. Other games have taken a bit of spotlight, definitely, but League is always trying to please its players. Balance is difficult and can spur many people to say negative things as well, but Riot knows what they’re doing.

League is going to be around for years to come.
