Hello, Summoners! Welcome to your ultimate guide for mastering Irelia, the Blade Dancer, in the Mid and Top roles. If you aspire to control the flowing dance of blades, you're in the right place!
1. Skills Overview
Irelia works well with champions who can crowd control enemies and set up easy marks for her Q, such as Leona, Nautilus, or Sejuani.
6. Counters
Ranged champions with crowd control or champions with burst damage can pose problems for Irelia, such as Teemo, Malzahar, or Darius.
Mastering Irelia requires good mechanical skills and an understanding of the limits of her dueling potential. Keep practicing, and you'll soon dance your way to victory.
Feel free to share your own experiences, strategies, and questions about Irelia. Remember to keep the discussion respectful and constructive!
1. Skills Overview
- Passive (Ionian Fervor): Basic attacks grant Attack Speed for a few seconds. At max stacks, this bonus is increased and Irelia's attacks deal bonus magic damage.
- Q (Bladesurge): Dashes through a target, dealing physical damage. Killing a unit or hitting a marked target resets the cooldown.
- W (Defiant Dance): Reduces incoming physical damage. Second cast sweeps her blades around her, dealing physical damage in a line.
- E (Flawless Duet): Sends a blade to target location. Can be recast within a few seconds to send another blade. When both blades meet, they stun enemies in the path and mark them.
- R (Vanguard's Edge): Fires a massive number of blades that explode outward upon hitting an enemy champion. Affected enemies suffer damage, are slowed, and are marked.
- Primary (Precision): Conqueror, Triumph, Legend: Alacrity, Last Stand.
- Secondary (Inspiration): Biscuit Delivery, Time Warp Tonic.
- Stat Shards: Attack Speed, Adaptive Force, Armor or Magic Resist.
- Starting: Corrupting Potion
- Core: Ionian Boots of Lucidity, Immortal Shieldbow, The Black Cleaver
- Situational: Guardian Angel, Sterak's Gage, Blade of the Ruined King, Death's Dance
- Utilize your Q resets effectively in fights by marking targets with your E and R.
- You can use your W to reduce incoming damage, but it doesn't reduce magic damage or true damage.
- Your R can be a great engage tool in team fights. Try to hit as many enemies as you can.
- Irelia excels in extended fights thanks to her passive, Ionian Fervor.
