Missing this site and all of u, Used to play a lot of games but now I've gone back to academics. The issue is my college video application in which I attend my online lectures, doesn't allow to record the video for copyright purposes. Disable acceleration and maybe try downloading An addon that downloads videos

I mean those are DRM protected content there are ways to bypass that restriction but this english general forums your question is better suited elsewhere

Hardware acceleration off, OBS and then everything should work.
If not you have to try different browsers.
But the first one alone should be enough.

broo obs works definitely just use your dedicated GPU in video acceleration...or just turn on video acceleration in chromo ...

my advice is to search on YouTube for fixing obs black screen back in time i did find same solutions for this but forgot that was that

So basically its the same thing with netflix, just search the same issue but replace hulu with netflix and you will find tons of fixes for it. Its the same exact problem and I fixed it from watching a video.

Just use virtual machines. Although that method is mostly used for recording netflix series and stuff, academics are pretty dumb in most places of the world so I wouldn't bother putting in that kind of effort lol

Turn off Chrome hardware acceleration setting, obs can record if you turn off the setting. This is the exact solution to the problem.
