I'm new into the coding world of hacking games. Can someone explain why some anti-cheats are way harder to bypass than others. For example VAC has immensely bad cheat-detection system yet they continue to use their system instead of EAC and such. Why not just go under contract with EAC or BattleEye and such?
Many factors like:
is anti-cheat server sided or client sided
or if it runs in your kernel or you can stimulate any cheat in external kernel drive above it so its ud.
I recommend reading about specific anti-cheat, do some "test drive" by dumping its memory
