That's an interesting question, if you're a begginer it wouldn't make sense for you to have God Tier mechanics (that would be sus) so i reccomend that you choose more "straight foward" champions that you can carry with, like Amumu, Zac, Nunu. You wouldn't see any of these in a highlight montage video, because nobody cares if you hits your Qs with Amumu. Other factor that makes a difference is learning, champions with intense mechanics don't let you focus on the basics of the game, like farming, reading the enemy, or in your case jungle stuff, like ganking, jungle paths and things like that.
