Cheating is beneficial. Like the game you're playing, it depends on you since it's your game and you can do whatever you want with it. If they ban you, make a new account and cheat again if you want.
In the general context, I think there is a whole moral issue behind this. I believe that using cheet is a way to find a shortcut. I know this is morally wrong, but I will never be good enough without cheating.
