Being competitive is good but if it's only a friend's game or playing for fun and you start being way competitive is the worse.
Plus in e-sports, if you win you have money and if you lose, win next time.

for me its awesome because when you are awesome in some games where its in esport you can earn now very very much money with it. Its normal that the equipment and all the other stuff are expensive but how i said when you are awesome in games you can earn with it very much money.
