slow internet

I have 10mbps internet speed but when I try to download something like online/offline games I only got 100kbps or higher the maximum speed I got was 500kbps+ not even reached to 1mbps. Even when I'm streaming in youtube its so slow.. does anyone know how to fix this?? like even 1mbps is okay for...
