I would recommend the 2080ti - just for the fact if you're gonna be a gamer, you're probably going to be looking for more intensive games for the future. Better to future proof yourself. Choosing a graphics card depends on the current state of your computer.
You should not choose a high-end chip to go with a cheap gpu or vice versa (weak cpu, strong gpu = bottleneck)
