I have a Vortex Poker 3 with MX Blues that I picked up for about £125, and I love it.

Think about what layout and switches you want, and ignore the people who will inevitably say "blues are bad for gaming, you want reds", because they are wrong. Go with the ones you enjoy using.

Don't dismiss compact layouts, because you aren't necessarily losing functionality. My 60% has full media keys and arrows that I can reach without having to stretch my fingers at all.
