It’s very different from playing video games, I would like to first point out recoil, the thing I like about guns is the recoil of the plastic and aluminum butting up against your shoulder followed by a beautiful report and the smell of gunpowder. Video gamers will never experience this unless they shoot a gun in person, most people don’t even like the recoil because it hurts ( those people are wimps in my opinion ). Also, it gives the video gamers a much more realistic view of guns themselves… like how to load them properly and the fact that you don’t have to cock the damn thing every time you bring it out if there’s a bullet already loaded, or recoil, most recoil is few and far between in games, there’s too much or too little of it, and “SNIPERS”, sniper rifles aren’t real, because they’re just a normal hunting rifle unless you’re using a .50 BMG or etc… most people get this wrong, in fact, I hate when people call a bolt action .308 with a scope a “sniper rifle” because they saw it in a game and that’s what you do with it. The only sniper their is, is YOU! You’re the sniper, not the gun. Same with school shooter or etc… but I’m not here to talk politics. .
