NVME SSD is much faster than others because the type of memory it uses and its direct connection to the main board are some of the reasons why it is faster than other competitors. SSD and HDD are both connected via cable and the motor inside has no memory, so my suggestion is NVME SSD.

its right but not 100% tho
nvme uses pcie lanes which direct data to cpu thats why its so much faster.
m.2 ssd looks exactly like nvme and uses same port as nvme, but different connector type and its uses SATA which isnt diectly communicate with cpu.
