Which one is better? Windows 7 or Windows 10

Right now Windows 10 is the way to go, it's been 5 years since it was released and pretty much all issues it had when it came out are fixed, i can even say that tweaking it a little bit can run better on older computers with low ram compared if using Windows 7, also W7 support ended on January if im not wrong, so that has to be the main reason to leave it behind
If you are concerned about privacy there are some tools out there that can help you make it as secure as you want, they don't required installation but im not sure if i can advertise other sites, will re-read the rules and edit the post if it's allowed.

I honestly don't mind Win7 not being supported anymore because I never downloaded any updates whatsoever, but it definitely made me feel like Win10 was forced upon us, leaving us no option but to switch to it. But thinking back, it was always the same (with Vista, XP, etc.).. Maybe it's just the era we're living in that's making me skeptic about everything, lol.
Even if I'm concerned about privacy, no matter what we do, it's close to impossible to protect it in the world we're living in right now. As far as Win10 goes, I still don't trust it despite the tools available. But thanks anyway. ^

I think the problem is that before we weren't that paranoid or concerned with privacy, now everything you read it has some privacy related article about either an APP or OS that is leaking your data and so on..
And as you said, no matter what we do it's almost impossible to protect us from the word we're living but at least we can learn and take necessary measures we can increase the protection rate a bit more, I've been thinking on switching to a privacy distro on Linux, the problem is that im so used to Windows that i actually need to learn everything and for now that's a big nope, i think that's the same case for you, if you are used to W7 switching to W10 would be a whole new world

I've always been concerned with privacy because I consider it quite important. Even more now, when it's so easy to lose it completely. I think it's actually a good thing that there are articles relating such issues, since remaining blind to it can cause us great harm in the future.
You're definitely right that we weren't that concerned in the past, but it was also because things were different.. With the technology boom, a lot has been changing and frankly, I'm worried about where we're headed.
With that I also agree and I think we should do our best to protect our personal data. I've been playing with the idea of ditching Windows as well and going for Linux/Ubuntu, but that would imply an influx of issues for me because of the compatibility problems. Linux still has a lot to work on in that regard.
I am actually already getting used to Win10 and I must say that I don't find it that much different. I've even noticed some improvement, but I do prefer Win7 anyway, mostly because of what we've discussed.

TBH neither, i would totally stick to windows XP, because of super admin, easy permissions, not fucked up gui, simplicity; but lack of support in new games makes it impossible to be used in nowadays.

windows 7 ultimate edition is the best. It has 8 slots for ram and can hold 128GB or more. I have 32 gb 4gb sticks.

I am on windows 7 ultimate with 3.8 GHZ I7 3820 overcloackable to 4.5GHS.
I use precision X16.
I flashed my bios recently so it can boost GPU to +59
