2080 ti to 3080 - Should I do it?

I was one of those suckers that bought a 2080 ti when they launched in Sept 2018. I'm kinda tempted to buy the 3080, but I just don't think the performance increase is really worth it. I play mostly on 1440p, so I doubt I would see any major increases.

What do you guys think, should I do it? Or should I wait?

Forgot to mention I play a lot of other games, Red Dead 2, GTA 5, Destiny 2, so not just LoL. I'm wondering how well the 2080 ti will run Cyberpunk 2077? Just waiting to see haha!

Is there somethign that you can do with 3080 that you cannot do with 2080t? If yes, then buy, if no, then don't buy.

If u want to buy it for better performance, and if u got money for them, don't borrow. If u want to flex, don't buy it, you will waste money and time, stock is really low.

It makes no sense to go to line 3000 if you have no interest in 4k, you will be throwing money away.

Cyberpunk will come out in less than 24hours. However, I do not think it would be an advantageous upgrade. What is your current CPU? (Also the 6900xt are coming today, which are supposed to replace 3090 for less money)
