Is it possible to use the GPU to increase capacity and RAM?

I saw a guy one day using his GPU to increase capacity and ram, is this possible or something fake?

It is fake. You can't fool you MOBO. You can overclock(speeD) you ram, tho.

The bandwidth, and more importantly, latency between the GPU and RAM over the PCIe bus is an order of magnitude worse than between the GPU and VRAM, so if you are going to do that you might as well be number crunching on the CPU

You're comparing two things that are not related. GPU it's related to the performance of your PC, the RAM it's connected with the storage.

That image is just from ubuntu's driver management page. He has two GPUs. Also both the memory types are way different. And it won't be worth it anyway. The PCIE bridge works differently than RAM. They talk to the processor differently. It's not possible to emulate their behavior as far as I know.

I don't think you can use your GPU to increase RAM performance. They're two different parts of the MOBO, highly doubt this is real.
