It has changed a lot over the years, but it has always been present in emo!

I highly recommend that you listen to bring me the horizon. They have a lot of songs, from sad to very agitated where all that pessimistic feeling that you were feeling just turns into tingling and wanting to send everyone to fuck up for having too much shouting in the songs.

Yes, very much alive. More alive than before, I would say. The songs released now are much lighter and give taste to all kinds of people to enjoy. The views have increased a lot too.
