The game is simply buggy, full of glitches and now its full of hackers also. The game is unplayable, so thats the reason many people stopped playing it.

I believe that there will be only bugfix updates only and no new content updates(new maps etc).

Either way the game is pretty much dead; if you play a game more than 70% of the players are actually bots.
