i was using the intel processor before.. i5 4th generation..now om using the Ryzen 5600X.. both are great but now the ryzen processors are way more better for gaming experience

Both of them is good, you just need to adjust on what u want to do with your PC

If u need editing and stuffs like that, go use Ryzen because probably it has more multi core
If u want gaming and stuffs, use Intel, they dont have more multi core like ryzen but their single core will be useful for gaming
