If we talk about persons in general - i would say personality and actions.
Pretty much everything that human respects, open mindedness, trust, respect and openness.
If person is open minded, respectfull and open we can easily solve all issues, if they happen, trough communication and actions, mutual respect and trust.

This also applies to opposite sex, while physical look IS important for me and that first approach since we all need to find someone attractive before we approach them, physical looks quicky fells down on the list and i start to look for those "human" values.

By my country's standards and somewhat narrowminded mentality of majority of the people here i look... like a convict or drug addict.
Im not saying that they are stupid, its just the way how older generations are here due to our nations past.

I had cases where my visiting friends asked me to move indoors while being in public parks because they couldn't handle "all the staring.."
Im not bothered by it, i guess i got used to live with it and that ill run on cases where people treat me differently simply because of the choices that i made.
You could say that "Ive experienced on my skin discrimination simply by the visual look" so firsthand i saw how ugly that is and, tbh, how makes people feel on receiving end.

Even so we learn most of human values while we are kiddos, i have a nice reminder from time to time that there is quite more to people than what we see.

Im from Southern Europe, Balkan, Serbia.
People here are quite Christian Godfearing, patriotic, proud of our heritage and, well, everything that our country went trough trough ages, not just recent, but old times too.
Being tattooed, specially heavily as i am, instantly brands you as criminal, drug addict and hooligan.

As i mentioned, im used to it, mainly older and elderly people have some extreme reactions that often leave me speechless.
But on other hand kids are most fun to interact with. They want to know why i used my pencils on me, did i run out of paper, want to know what means what etc etc xD
