Disadvantages:
Battery performance changes.
Sudden and continuous crashes and reboots of the device.
In-app advertising.
Accounts with applications that are not available in the AppStore.
Duplicate icons.

I mean its much like rooting android but since Android has more bypass like Magisk with modules that can hide root. We only ever lose warranty and not any features.

Yes, Apple and Google along with phone manufacturers do not like tampering with your system due to "security reasons". You may not be able to recieve system updates and some apps may block or purposefully crash when they detect a modified system. There are ways to bypass this but you need to be a power user and have time to learn so basically dont do it if you cant handle it.

Not really a problem, but if its a new~ish phone i wouldnt jailbreak it, its more useful to older phones that dont get updates anymore

Yes, this is why rooting and jailbreaking is not recommended for non-power users since you would have a hard time to fix whatever problem or avoid breaking the system if you plan on modifying without much knowledge of backup systems and operating system.

I think the biggest disadvantage is the out-of-warranty problem, no matter how much jailbreak files are removed from the phone, the technical support team can somehow notice it.

If I'm not mistaken, you lose any kind of manufacturer's warranty.

I jailbroken my iphone5 once using a software from CIANOJEN MOD, it really unlocked everything on my iphone example:

- The songs that I downloaded directly on itunes (it was free) went straight to apptunes.

- Some apps on the AppStore have been unlocked.



But after a while I went to restore an iphone backup using Itunes and it never worked again, it literally crashed, not even reinstalling the cell phone system came back.

My view on these procedures with Apple products... NO
