First of all, I apologize. I use a translator because I'm Brazilian and my English is terrible.



Short presentation:​
Hello. How are you? I am the Monarca (or Kiper for the ancients). I work with programming and development of websites and applications for more than a decade. Whether freelancing or releasing my own projects to the world.
I had some successful servers that brought me a more than relevant financial return. I can cite the two most recent:
Aibit MMORPG, and TibiaGUN. (Search on Youtube).


I decided to post this in search of getting collaborators, and getting some initial feedback.


My last game created. It is being used as the basis for the creation of Sagan Worlds, so I recorded a video demonstrating some mechanics, and features present in the game:

SAGAN WORLDS
My idea here is the creation of an MMORPG with SCI-FI time, a totally futuristic game, and that uses information very faithful to reality, making the immersion much greater.
And what is most interesting? 90% of the game is ready as I am using MY old TibiaGUN game as a base for creation.

The game will have elements like oxygen, hunger, cold, heat, atmosphere, gravity that will change the player's base speed, and everything that can have a more immersive, realistic experience.
In it you can DISCOVER, EXPLORE and COLONIZE new planets. Whether on foot, inside a small aircraft, in space or in the air, you will be able to carry out expeditions with your Guild, carry out official missions and much more.
Items such as spacesuits, computers, telescopes, sophisticated weapons are present along with a multitude of gadgets, and you will be able to upgrade your suit, your weapons and your aircraft and gliders.

Rockets in Sagan Worlds are powered by HELICOIDAL MOTOR technology. In real life, the propellant-free engine already exists in the form of an idea.
We decided to use the helical motor because we could go from Earth to the Moon in 1.5 seconds, to Mars in 12.5 minutes and to Neptune in 4 hours. All this because this rocket promises to reach 99% of the speed of light.​

Within the game, to travel to a distant place, you will be inside a very large aircraft (Rocket), and you will be able to move around inside, communicate and interact with the equipment, and the cool thing is that we will use calculations for the time you will be inside the aircraft. If you went from Earth to the Moon in this case, you would arrive in 1.5 seconds, if you went from Earth to Neptune, the trip would take 4 hours.
Launches in the game happen periodically, and if you really want to go somewhere, you need to keep an eye on the LAUNCH BOARD so you don't miss your rocket.

In a futuristic world, upon turning 18, you must receive training to serve as a Floater (in-game vocation) on the moons of Jupiter.
Planet Earth has become almost inhospitable, and the reproduction of the human species on the planet is strictly prohibited due to radiation, mutation, and sub-human conditions.
Three percent of the human race can still call this once-abundant place home. Half of them have been given this mission, and the other half live illegally in the sewers of the old big cities.
They are very important for the survival of our species in general. We get help, exchange supplies, and send out military missions when things are bad in our old home.

Every new player (Floating) is a resident of Luna (The moon of Planet Earth), and the game starts at the age of 18 of the player, where he is already receiving instructions to enter the ship NAXI, to start playing his role on the moon of Chosen Jupiter.
NAXI is the only spacecraft authorized to take new crew to the designated location. She is an intelligent ship, and will teach you everything you need to play as a Floater. After the entire tutorial, you will finally undock, and go the rest of the way in your Capsule. But wait, you are not yet allowed to fly the Capsule, so the route will be traveled on autopilot.​

You can ask me: if a planet with enormous potential is located and discovered, but its distance is too great, can I spend 5, 8, 24 REAL hours inside a ship stuck in the game?
I answer yes! Because I believe that the recipe for a great MMORPG is the feeling of achievement. The greater the challenge, the greater the reward.
However, it is not nice to stuck. You really need to add some contents in that case. Maybe you can have a player types like "Researcher / Explorer".
Lets say u have 1 explorer in the team. While traveling to other planets (or before), they can search some things likes black holes, worm holes. Worm holes for make travel distance shorter then original one, and black holes for add some dangerous content in traveling scene.

However, it is not nice to stuck. You really need to add some contents in that case. Maybe you can have a player types like "Researcher / Explorer".
Lets say u have 1 explorer in the team. While traveling to other planets (or before), they can search some things likes black holes, worm holes. Worm holes for make travel distance shorter then original one, and black holes for add some dangerous content in traveling scene.

The "prisoner" is a way of speaking. Because this aircraft will be really big, with a lot of interactive content inside so that the player can carry out some processes, and interactions while traveling.

About the Wormhole concept, yes I had already thought about it. We will use the method when the distance is really too great for conventional travel. In this case, we may have some wormholes on the map, and in this case the wait will be shorter, being only necessary to travel to the wormhole.

About the Searcher / Explorer role:
The player will be able to become an astronomer within the game by carrying out some missions (level requirement needed), specializing, and making it possible to study new planets.
He will be able to discover uninhabitable, and habitable planets, and players in general can only travel to a planet THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN DISCOVERED by another astronomer.

Obviously we would like to reshape the game, bring more technology and futurism into our environments and assets. That's why I'm looking for Pixel Artists and Designers to create new Assets, Outfits and Creatures. We are currently using Tibia graphics (which is not against the law as it was released by Cipsoft a long time ago for commercial use). Of our authorship in the graphics today, only weapons, ammunition, and a few other things.
Nothing prevents us from launching a beta with just a few new outfits, ships, and assets. Work that lasts from 1 to 3 months.

I didn't tell you, but the game has an Upgrade and Skills system for weapon customization. There are already over 99 technologies to give your weapon a new attribute. As you can see in the image, when the weapon is PURPLE, it means it has the maximum "rarity" level. In this case, you can equip 3 types of technology.
