Actually, it depends person to person. Your method could be the perfect one for you but it doesn't mean that it can work for the others perfectly. This is the thing that we always forget to mention about at schools and so on. I am working in a private language school as an english teacher and I can definitely say that every student and person has a unique way to understand and develop their language skills. We are human beings and we are different in many ways.

English are not my mother language . I’m learned it from playing games by my self . I still remember the first game i play with zero knowledge of english was the elder scroll 4 . I had to google translate every words in my play through .
