How on earth did you get BF 3 to play? I got so frustrated trying to make it work I refunded the game at Steam

start - run - write temp and %temp% clean files and try again. I have not experienced such a problem.

To play the story you can download bf4 you dont have to buy it
also there are plenty of codes for single player bf4

You dont need to but bf4 to play the story, u just need to download it
and there is a lot of codes for single player
