Fun but not as scary/jumpscary as Dead Space 1. Feels more like an FPS than Survival Horror. Definitely not worth its full price. I remember some parts/scenes feeling old, that being said there are also parts that surpassed Dead Space 1 in terms of horror levels.
I don't think playing both Dead Space Remake and Dead Space 2 is a good idea. Story wise you should play 1 then 2 but then going from 2023 graphics to 2011 graphics is a turn down for many people. I say save your money, buy Dead Space Remake and if they ever release Dead Space 2 Remake then play that.
