can cheat be detected if only using awareness cheats? and not using other types of cheats (such as evades and aim bot)

If LoL hack get fixed, you will get banned. Becasue you injected hack to your account.

Only using awareness will just reduce chance being reported by other players. Other than that there is always can be other detection vectors which is issued by program/code itself. So It's possible you can still get banned by Riot's banwaves. Thats why we don't recommend you to use any hacks on your main account.
