Here are some tips on how to improve keyboard latency in games:

  • Use a wired connection. Wired connections are generally faster and more reliable than wireless connections, which can reduce latency.
  • Clean your keyboard. Dust and dirt can build up on your keyboard over time and cause latency issues. Use a can of compressed air to clean out your keyboard regularly.
  • Remove other devices from your PC. Other devices that are connected to your PC, such as printers and scanners, can sometimes cause latency issues. Disconnect any unnecessary devices when you're gaming.
  • Keep your PC temperatures in check. High temperatures can cause your PC to overheat and throttle its performance, which can lead to latency issues. Make sure your PC has adequate ventilation and keep it clean of dust.
  • Close CPU-hungry apps. Close any apps that you're not using when you're gaming. This will free up CPU resources and improve the performance of your games.
  • Tweak your keyboard settings. You can adjust the keyboard repeat delay and repeat rate in the Windows Control Panel. A lower repeat delay and higher repeat rate can reduce latency.
  • Disable Filter Keys. Filter Keys is a Windows accessibility feature that can slow down keyboard input. To disable Filter Keys, go to Settings > Ease of Access > Keyboard and toggle off the "Use Filter Keys" switch
