240Hz monitor for FPS games

Hi guys.

Do you think it's worth it to spend 400Euros for a 24", FHD, HDR 100, 240Hz monitor for eSport competitive game?
I actually have a 24" Samsung FHD, 144Hz (payed 240Euros).

Should i upgrade or not?

I was going to say that is always good to have a high HZ monitor, but yours is already good, people often say that after 120Hz there's no visible difference, but I don't have neither, so I can't tell... It is a good idea if you want to use double monitors tho.

I started from 60hz, upgraded to 120Hz with HDMI and now 144Hz with DP. It's true human eye can't see an actual difference in pixels movements over 120-144Hz but lots of pro players say they can "feel" the difference in game in terms of flluidity and performance.

Of course im not looking for a new monitor to play LOL, but i need it for eSport level games.. Im soo undecided!!!

First of all, you need to decide on the priorities: what is more important for you, speed of reaction or image quality. 240 Hertz monitors are available only on the basis of TN-matrices. There are fast monitors based on IPS and VA matrices, but their refresh rate is limited to 144 Hz. So if color rendering quality is your priority, it’s best to pay attention to the 144-Hertz models, especially since very few can notice the real difference between 240 and 144 Hz. If speed is more important, then do not forget about the need to purchase a powerful graphics subsystem that could load such a high-speed display.

No, 144Hz is actually the best, I don't think you will see the difference, I mean, it will surely be a little difference compared to the money you will spend
