When I get 50 comments and 5 days, will I have to ask to become a confirmed member or it will be set automatically as soon as I get 5 days since registration?

it will happen automatically. But you'll need to be patient. It took in my case around 2 hours for the status to be updated. Also make sure that the 5 days have passed by the hour.
