im using intell 8700k still with gefor 1080GTX and i dont face any problems with any game. i think this yeah AMD came out with cheaper and more stronger product then intell, then thing most people say go AMD for cheaper price per performace then intell.

for processor i prefrer AMD because intel chipset still stuck on 14nm++ but the amd already using 10nm++ ,intel price still expensive than AMD, but the top of benchmark now is AMD processor.
for gpu i prefer Nvidia because the manufactur has stable driver, not like AMD who had some buged on driver, but they haven't fixed yet
