If you're talking about your disk usage, you should use SSD instead of HDD. Operating systems can now work more stable on SSDs.

if u still using HDD, u should upgrade to SSD cos SSD price now didn't cost that much
u can also only use SSD for System file and still use old HDD for non competitive game

please try an old version eg 1809,... see if it can be improved
you can use windows+r to open execute and write %temp% and presser enter to open a folder full of temporary files that you can delete

Probably bad sector on HDD/SSD try to formatting your OS first and It doesn't affect the disk usage buy a new SSD/HDD.
