for a medium computer i give you this advice:
go for AMD not intel processor (ryzen 5 2600 is more than enought)
buy a nvidia gpu (1060/1060ti)
go for ssd (minimum 1tb)
buy a big case, in case you need to place a AIO or custom liquid dissipator

sadsadif you are in a budget, buy a pentium processor at least 7th gen and combine it with a gtx 1050ti and at least 8 gb of ram. Would cost you around 400-500 dollars

As just in the present or some configurations that may be good for improvements in the long term? Because to play on full hd is one thing, to play on full hd with 144 fps is another, and to have a setup that may you have good perfomance, but allowing you to upgrade it later is diff as well.
