I am currently using CLion as my IDE for C++. So far, my experience with it has been great. Nonetheless, you should consider Visual Studio.

PS: My toxic trait will probably recommend Notepad++ lmao.

C++ is very good and is considered the mother tongue, but I advise you to work in a language that you need for practice

There are many good C++ integrated development environments (IDEs) available, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. Here are some of the most popular and recommended C++ IDEs:

1. Visual Studio: This is a comprehensive IDE developed by Microsoft and is widely used for C++ development on Windows. It provides a range of features including code editing, debugging, and testing.

2. Eclipse: This is a popular open-source IDE that supports C++ development along with many other programming languages. It features a customizable interface, code analysis, debugging, and testing tools.

3. Code::Blocks: This is a free, open-source IDE that is lightweight and easy to use. It features a user-friendly interface, code highlighting, debugging, and testing support.

4. CLion: This is a cross-platform IDE developed by JetBrains specifically for C++ development. It features code analysis, debugging, and testing tools, as well as integration with popular build systems like CMake.

5. Xcode: This is an IDE developed by Apple for macOS and iOS development, including C++. It provides a range of features including code editing, debugging, and testing, as well as integration with the Apple developer ecosystem.

These are just a few of the many great C++ IDEs available. Ultimately, the best IDE for you will depend on your specific needs and preferences.
