Success in the game depends on a combination of factors, including skill, experience, strategy, and teamwork, etc.. So theres no conclusive evidence to say that League players have a high IQ, even if it may require a certain level of cognitive abilities such as strategic thinking, decision-making, and quick reflexes, an IQ test checks for way more stuff like verbal comprehension and perceptual reasoning (you can say, tho, that league improves processing speed and working memory).

I think this question is quite difficult to answer, they depend on how you see the game, the effort, the team spirit... The ability to handle situations is only a small part of determining your IQ. tall or not?

In my opinion every game which is skill based increases your IQ... So yeah League of Legends players have high IQ...

I would think that league players have a higher IQ (However I would only reserve this to only high elo players, lets say Master+ on major servers). The game is like chess, you need to progress with one move at a time to play certain plays correctly. Also the fact that there are always new different scenarios for every player which the player needs to adapt to. For example, every game will have different champions and different players controlling them, thus resulting in a difference in playing out the champ, so the players would need to adapt accordingly to play it out correctly. This and other reasons, similiar, are why I believe that high elo league of legends players posses an Higher IQ on average
