It's understandable that the situation may feel awkward and uncertain if you and the other person have not talked to each other in a while and have been treating each other like strangers. When this usually happens, you have to pursue your choices and give it a try. If you want her back, you have to straight up message her and ask her out. No matter what happened between you, time wont fix it anyways, so if she still wants you, she will say yes and if not then a no. I have personnel experience of this, so trust me.
