The first video game I ever played was 'Sonic the Hedgehog', and I was absolutely hooked from the moment I first played it. I remember the levels being really challenging and having to really think hard about my next move so as not to lose all of my rings, but the thrill of racing through the levels as Sonic, collecting as many rings as I could and defeating each enemy, was so addictive. I love the sense of accomplishment that comes from overcoming a difficult challenge, and this game was the perfect balance of excitement and challenge that really appealed to me as a kid.
