if you want for portabilty and low power comsuption then go to gaming laptop.

U can get urself an asus, or just build a mid-tier PC, maybe an 2080 gpu, i5, asus motherboard, and some cooling system.

One friend of mine bought a Laptop and regreted it. I think a laptop is more expensive and less performance , but it's portable. If you need it for work, i would choose laptop. If gaming, a setup.

But wich one? Laptop or setup.... I actually prefer a setup for home and a Laptop for traveling.

I have both, initially only had one laptop. The fact that you can't upgrade it is a big problem, it really bothered me before building a desktop
