The laptop is for office work and pc is for gaming simply, if you want a good experience then build a setup.

For gaming, i prefer desktop setups. But if you do not have any space to put your whole setup then you may switch to laptop. But most of the time while i was using laptop, i never moved it anywhere except my desk so i used it as a desktop pc.
