To the question of whether it is hot or cold, I think I would say neither hot nor cold because the concept that is warm in the middle is really the best.

Cold showers are proven to be healthier but honestly I'd rather take a hot shower because I find cold water unpleasent. But during summer I take cold showers more often for sure.
