Yes, C++ is one of the basic languages that any programmer must learn because it is one of the basics with which the programmer develops himself.

The time it takes to learn C++ varies widely depending on several factors, including your prior programming experience, the amount of time you can dedicate to learning, the quality of learning resources, and your ability to grasp new concepts. Here are some considerations:

  1. Prior Programming Experience:
    • If you already have experience with programming languages, especially those with C-style syntax like Java or C#, you might learn C++ more quickly.
  2. Learning Resources:
    • The quality and effectiveness of the learning resources you choose play a significant role. Well-structured courses, books, and tutorials can expedite the learning process.
  3. Dedication and Consistency:
    • Regular, consistent practice is more effective than sporadic intense study sessions. Dedicate a certain amount of time each day or week to learning and practicing C++.
  4. Project-Based Learning:
    • Building practical projects is an excellent way to reinforce your learning. Working on real-world applications allows you to apply theoretical knowledge.
  5. Complexity of C++:
    • C++ is a versatile and powerful language, but it can be more complex than some other programming languages. Understanding concepts like memory management and pointers may take additional time.
  6. Community and Support:
    • Engaging with the programming community, joining forums, and seeking help when needed can enhance your learning experience.
  7. Personal Learning Style:
    • People have different learning styles. Some may prefer books, others interactive online courses, and some hands-on coding projects. Identify what works best for you.

It's easy to learn the fundamentals of C++ such as the syntax because its mostly like other languages. It's difficult to actually create something from scratch though as it requires a ton of knowledge that builds on itself such as the WIN API.

It's different for everyone, some learn it faster and some don't.
If you really want to learn it, go for it, there are plenty of videos.
You can also take online courses or get tips from people who have experience.
it's very useful, you learn a lot of things I believe..
