Well how can I delete my own thread and what is the unwatch option?

You can't delete your own thread bro only admins can delete that, in for watched and unwatch option , Watch was for the thread that you've already replied, and for unwatch was for the thread that you didn't still visit. That watch and unwatch option helps you to void merging. So you know if that thread was you visited already or not.
