Press the Windows key, type "regedit" in the search field and enter. Then click on the following folders in order. "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE> SOFTWARE> Policies> Microsoft> Windows Defender" then right click on the empty space on the right and select "New Value> Dword (32 Bit)". Then right click on the value you just created and rename it "DisableAntiSpyware". Then double click the renamed value and set its value to 1. Then reset the computer and Defender will shut down permanently.
