I had the same issue but next time I ran it it was workin smoothly idk if I changed sum lemme check

You actually don't need to press any key for Semi cast, just stop holding SPACE or V, X or whatever and use it that way, i do this always.
Edit: I can suggest you to turn off the setting on Varus that he should use his Q in a short channeling, it seemed to shoot to short and often did not hit. With that disabled he actually charges the Q to full, if you are in combo and he does this just press Q while holding space and he also does short channeling. So you don't stuck there channeling while you should kite.

Varus script implementation is old I recommend using the IDK version of the script for functionality
